Position Title	Senior Financial Analyst
Responsibilities	Provide ongoing budget analysis and support to assigned departments and internally to the division. Assist in the preparation of  interim financial reports for senior management and Council, for both capital and operating budgets, including municipal enterprises.  Assist in completing year-end analysis. Undertake detailed and complex financial analysis. Provide financial recommendations for special projects as requested. Assist with daily cashflow monitoring and investment management. Review financial internal control systems and make recommendations for improvement. Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements	1. Must be reliable with good attitude and employment record. 2. Must successfully complete a medical examination if required. 3. Must have the ability to support and project values compatible with the organization. 4. Must have a professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA, CPA). 5. Must have a minimum 2 years experience in an accounting or analyst capacity. 6. Must have superior analytical and organizational skills. 7. Must have highly developed computer skills, particularly in the use of advanced spreadsheets, word processing, databases and report writers. SAP experience is an asset 8. Must be highly motivated, capable of working independently and able to meet deadlines. 9. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills. 10. Must have demonstrated the ability to lead projects of various terms and complexities. HOURS OF WORK: MONDAY – FRIDAY: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.                                                                     9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.                                               (modified)      8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (or approved alternate)
