第四届《九章算术》数学竞赛揭晓 (请注意以下红色high light - 王龙博（Lanney Wang）- Proud of My Son


泓河中文学校自2008年开始组织《九章算术》数学竞赛，今年是第四届。本届竞赛协办单位还有圣路易斯继续教育学院和滑铁卢大学孔子学院。《九章算术》数学竞赛以中国古代数学经典著作《九章算术》命名，为爱好数学的3-10级学生今后参加拿大数学赛提供实战练习机会，提高应赛能力。2008年以来参加《九章算术》数学竞赛的同学已有25人次登上加拿大数学竞赛的荣誉榜，包括6人次取得满分的好成绩。其中今年新获奖的同学包括：

在此向他们表示祝贺! 并希望这次《九章算术》数学竞赛的参赛的同学在明年及今后的加拿大数学竞赛中取得好成绩。


今年的《九章算术》数学竞赛有83名数学爱好者参加，超过了以往各届，部分同学从其它城市远道而来。这次的赛题增加了F部分，把7、8年级组和9、10年级组的难度差距拉大了，然而各组的成绩依然十分可喜。

Results of  “The Nine Chapters on the Mathematical Art” Contest 2011

“The Nine Chapters on the Mathematical Art” Contest (NCC) is a math contest designed for students of Grades 3 to 10 as a warm-up for the Canadian Math Contests. The contest is named after the Chinese ancient classic book "The Nine Chapters on the Mathematical Art". NCC 2011 is organized by Grand River Chinese School, co-organized by St. Louis Continuing Education Centers, and Confucius Institute at the University of Waterloo.

NCC began in 2008, and since then, attendees of NCC have achieved a lot of distinctive honours in Canadian Math Contests and were listed 25 times on honour rolls, including 6 times of perfect scores. New winners in year 2011 include:
